• Our Students

LAKE REGION HIGH SCHOOL, located in Polk County, Florida, opened August 14, 1995. We serve students in grades 9 through12. The enrollment is approximately 2000, Class 4A. The senior class is about 400 students.

• Our Location

Central Polk County is located 45 miles southwest of Orlando and 50 miles east of Tampa.

• Our Community

Lake Region High School serves the communities of north Bartow, Eagle Lake and south Winter Haven. The major industries in Polk County include tourism, citrus production and processing, and cattle ranching. Winter Haven serves as the spring training home of the Cleveland Indians major league baseball team.

Lake Region High School is one of six Polk District schools with a four period day curriculum. Students earn a full credit for each class successfully completed for a total of eight possible credits per year. Students have four ninety minute class periods, five days per week, eighteen weeks per term. Course credit is earned on a one credit per term basis.
