Tryout Procedure

A.) Have a 2.0 GPA from the previous nine weeks B.) Have a current physical exam with proof of family or school insurance C.) Transfers must be approved before tryout date D.) Closed tryouts to spectators

Character/Conduct

A.) A cheerleader should be enthusiastic, cooperative, poised, and confident; positive leadership character should be demonstrated. B.) Cheerleaders should conduct themselves properly at all times, for they are the official school representatives in and out of uniform and school. C.) Any cheerleader who violates the cheer rules and regulations will be punished according to the policy.

The Purpose of the LRHS Cheerleading Squad is to promote and uphold school spirit with the determination to encourage good sportsmanship between schools' players, spectators, and referees. In doing so, we positively represent the school, community, and parents. We further strive to control crowd response to discourage booing as well as undeirable yells. Our main goal is to become enthusiastic vocal supporters as well as inspirational leaders.
