Key Club is a service organization for high school students. The club is sponsored by the Winter Haven Kiwanis Club. The projects and activities under taken by Key Club encourage students to become involved in their school and community. Examples of some of these projects are collecting school supplies for Pinewood Elementary students, reading to elementary students, clothing drives, canned food drives, city and lake clean-ups, organize homecoming parade, and teacher appreciation activities. Participation in Key Club service activities help to develop initiative, leadership, and good citizenship. We are involved with BestBuddies which links Special Education students with their Regular Education peers to form lastiing friendship. We attend Key Club Convention each year in April with over 2000 other members from around the state Advisor How to Join When We Meet Key Club Member's Announcment: Key club members Chris O'Donnell, Jaun Santana, Kayla Crum, and Audrey Campbell had a blast Saturday September 29th showing off their salemanship skills and collecting over 300 dollars for the humane society of polk county! |
