Applications and Marketing Management are taken and passed under program and Gold Seal requirements.
Develop skills to prepare students for employment in a wide range of marketing related
fields including:  sales, buying, storing, distribution, advertising, finance and market
research.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.

In depth study of marketing in a free enterprise society and provide knowledge, skills and
attitudes required for employment.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.  Marketing 1 with a C or better. 

88271300 Marketing Management (Marketing 3)
(11-12)  1 credit
Development of career sustaining level employment in the industry.  Student will complete
projects.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.  Marketing 2 with a C or better.

 83004300 Guided Workplace Learning (On the job training)
(11-12) Credit Varies
Enhance further development of competencies through the on the job training experience.
Students must be presently taking Marketing Essentials, Applications, or Management to
be eligible for class.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.

82151200 Business and Entrepreneurship Principles
(9-10) 1 credit
Introduces the student to managerial principles and business ownership.  Students create,
plan, and implement ideas for a new business of their choice.   Begin study of marketing
and general business management.

DIVERSIFIED COOPERATIVE TRAINING (DCT)

(These courses receive Practical Art credit)

DCT is a Gold Seal and Vocational Completion Program if DCT 1, DCT 2, DCT 3 and 1 credit of OJT are taken and passed under program and Gold Seal requirements

83030100            Diversified Cooperative Training 1
(11-12)  1 credit
This course is a basic in class component of the OJT program for DCT.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.

83030200            Diversified Cooperative Training 2
(11-12)  1 credit
Second level course for the in class component of the OJT program for DCT.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.

83030300            Diversified Career Technology Management (DCT 3)
(11-12)  1 credit
Third level for the in class component of the OJT program for DCT.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.

83004100            Diversified Cooperative Training (OJT)
(11-12)  Credit varies
On the job training component of the DCT program.  Instruction is comprised of supervised
on the job training.  There is a maximum of 7 credits for DCT-OJT.
Pre-requisite:  Application and teacher approval.
