Students must take math each term until they pass the Algebra 1 requirement. After acquiring the Algebra 1 requirement, students must enroll in a math course every year. Please refer to the math progression chart in order determine the appropriate sequence of math courses you need to take. ( ) indicates 9th grade courses for term one. Students must earn a "C" or better in the current course in order to progress to the next math course.

Provides the foundation for further high school mathematics. It is intended for average and above average students.

Fast-Paced, Rigorous in-depth study emphasizing deductive reasoning and algebraic thinking skills. For the student who can keep up with a pace that is twice as fast as Algebra 1-A & Algebra 1-B, and for those students with a high work ethic.
Pre-requisite: Placement tests will be required if no FCAT scores are available. 8th grade Algebra 1 with a “B” or higher as well as FCAT scores.
12004000 Intensive Math
1 credit
Students are enrolled into this course as a supplement to the regular progression course a student is currently taking. Placement is by administration only.
Pre-requisite: 9th grade FCAT Scores will determine placement.

A study of plane and solid geometry. Algebra will be used to solve problems.
Pre-requisite: Completion of the Algebra 1 component
12063200 Geometry Honors
(9-12) 1 credit
The rigorous study of plane and solid geometry through deductive and inductive reasoning. The study of proofs are included. This is a fast-paced course. For those students with a high work ethic. Placement tests when no FCAT data present.
Pre-requisite: 9th grade Algebra 1 Honors with a “B” or higher, or 8th grade Algebra 1- Honors with an “A” . (Placement tests may be given at teacher discretion to those with FCAT Scores)

A course that includes but is not limited to material from both Algebra and Geometry. The course is for students who have not successfully completed
Algebra 2.
Pre-requisite: Must have passed the 10th Grade FCAT Mathematics.

This course is the second year study of Algebra and includes logarithms, exponential functions and graphing.

This is a fast-paced & rigorous course providing an in-depth study of the topics of Algebra 2 with emphasis on theory.
