Students who register for Band, Orchestra or Chorus are making a two term commitment each year In addition, some courses require auditions and possible interviews with the directors.

Students who register for music courses should also note there will be after school rehearsals and activities for the year. Part of the final grades are based upon performances.

Band
The purpose of these courses are to provide students with band instrument experience.
Concert Band is open to all grade levels.
Symphonic Band is open to all grade levels. Audition and teacher approval required.

CHORUS
The purpose of this course is to provide students experience in basic vocal production techniques and part singing. There are three levels of chorus:
Beginning Chorus Open to all students. No audition required.
Girls’ Chorus Open to girls, grades 10-12. No audition required.
Advanced Chorus Open to all students, grades 10-12. Audition required
and teacher approval.

KEYBOARD/GUITAR The purpose of these courses is to introduce students to skills playing the keyboard as well as the guitar. Open to all grade levels.
