The Technology Student Association fosters personal growth, leadership, and opportunities in technology, innovation, design, and engineering. Members apply and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through co-curricular activities, competitive events and related programs.

TSA is a Department of Education encouraged activity that can enhance a technology education program, build confidence, provide extra-curricular and leadership skills for students, and add an exciting dimension to the teaching profession. We encourage our current chapters to re-affiliate, and invite former chapters and new affiliates to join in on the exciting opportunities provided by a TSA membership.

Lake Region High School has had an active TSA club since 2001, when we affiliated with Florida TSA as Chapter 252. Since then we have gone a long way and have been very successful at the various state and national conferences we attended. We have been entering all sorts of events such as Cyberspace Pursuit, SciViz, Dragsters, Desktop Publishing, Prepared Presentation and more all of which we have been continually successful at and pulled several 1st and 2nd place trophies. Another important characteristic of our club is that we are small yet effective and powerful led by an awesome advisor. We only may have 8-9 members each year but we have the ability to make these 8-9 members join and become a productive powerhouse which pulls 10-12 1st places. We all cooperate and add our input to everyone's events which enhances our learning experience and makes it lots of fun.
Learning To Live In A Technical World.

I believe that Technology Education holds an important place in my life in the technical world. I believe there is a need for the development of good attitudes concerning work, tools, materials, experimentation, and processes of industry. Guided by my teachers, artisans from industry, and my own initiative, I will strive to do my best in making my school, community, state, and nation better places in which to live. I will accept the responsibilities that are mine. I will accept the theories that are supported by proper evidence. I will explore on my own for safer, more effective methods of working and living. I will strive to develop a cooperative attitude and will exercise tact and respect for other individuals.
Through the work of my hands and mind, I will express my ideas to the best of my ability. I will make it my goal to do better each day the task before me, and to be steadfast in my belief in my God, and my fellow Americans.
